H1: About 1st&2nd classes of Winter CM

I've already downloaded zotero in last term's CM course but I didn't know how to use it and how it is useful actually. Now I realize zotero will help me to write essays and I probably (hopefully) won't have to stay up all the night to make the works cited any more. How great zotero is!

And I knew I can upgrade the Firefox portable changing any settings.

Google Form survey - Homework 8

Our survey was about the autumn holiday.
We wanted to know whether everyone is looking forward it or not, what they do in the holiday and the length of holiday is appropriate for students.

As a result, Almost everyone who answered the questions were looking forward it very much, on the average about 4.5 out of 1-5 scale.
And they will do various things. Quite a few people will spend their holiday at home or at their parents home, but some of them seem to trip somewhere or go abroad.
They answered like wanna go Momijigari or shopping or sleep etc.
Majority of them think playing is the best way to spend holiday.
Finally, EVERYBODY thinks that the autumn holiday is too short or a little short!
Now ICU should consider about students voice.

this function is interesting.

Google Document

The tool we used for the presentation of this class was really convenient!
I was so surprised and impressed about the function that we can share the slides and edit anytime we like.
How convenient it is!
But I think Google Doc could be better. One thing I didn't like about it was that I can't change the angle of pictures. And we couldn't make pics move neither. If google adds such functions, it must become most convenient tool to make presentation slides!

iGoogle, Homework 4

I made my iGoogle and I think it is really convenient but actually I rarely use it... It's because I haven't set it as my home page.

But I like the function because I can see various information such as maps, weather, e-mail and news etc.

I searched some sources for my final essay and those below might be useful...

About the presentations - Homework 7

This is our presentation slides!

It is a bit embarrassing...

All of your presentations today were really interesting.
I was impressed by those colourful and beautiful pictures/videos!

I could learn about much I didn't know from the Dogeza presentation. Also, the video put there was sooo funny! :D

I enjoyed the presentation about songs reflecting culture, too. I could know many songs from various countries! And I thought using photos of landmarks was good by looking their slides 'cause then we can know other things in the countries than songs and it's more interesting.

The presentation about home towns was interesting because I don't know much about the other prefectures' sightseeing spots (or dating spots?) well and I could know little about them. They were good introductions and I think using video which is explaining those places was also good idea.

zotero, other add-on - Homework 5

I installed Personas for Firefox. It is the tool we can change the design of Firefox. It's fun to find nice ones.

I didn't understand how to use zotero well...

Search Engines Homework 3

I found an interesting (or a funny) name search engine so I tried it.

'World Curry Guide" ?! http://web.curryguide.com/

I put "Japanese nonverbal communication silence" to search. As a result, I could find some interesting articles. But the article on the top of the results was not able to be read...

Anyway, there are some good search engines that I didn't know before!
I was so impressed by the Google wonder wheel. It must be useful for searching what I REALLY want to know.

ARW/RCA

Hi. Oh no, I have to go to the CM class in ten minutes...

So far we've read McDaniel and Barna in ELP classes also we've started reading Fisher. I think this term's ELP readings are quite interesting. I'm interested in cultural differences so I enjoy reading. But there are some words, phrases or ideas which are so hard to understand. That is the biggest problem for me, I think.
I hope I won't get too bad grades in this term...

Nice to meet you

Hi, I'm Sawako.
This is the first trial to have my own blog.

My section is BN. There're two more students from the same section in this class but let me introduce BN a bit. The sectionmates are all so nice! Sometimes they look a little crazy..but anyway, we enjoy chatting and events like seckon or ICU festival etc.

I belong to CMS orchestra circle and play the violin.

Weekeeeeend!
